Music
Music as Companionship, Expression, and Connection
Music has been one of the gentler companions of my life.
Through guitar, singing, familiar melodies, and shared musical moments, I have found a way to connect with people beyond business, titles, and formal roles.
Music softens the mind. It opens memory. It allows emotion to move without needing too much explanation.
A Self-Taught Journey
My relationship with music has grown naturally over time.
I am a self-taught guitarist, and that has shaped the way I understand learning. I know what it feels like to begin simply — with curiosity, hesitation, imperfect rhythm, and the joy of discovering that even a few chords can open the door to many songs.
This has influenced the way I share music with others. I do not see music only as performance. I see it also as participation, confidence, rhythm, memory, and emotional connection.
Patskott
Patskott is a creative name I used for some of my musical expression.
It comes from Patnaik, Srinivas, and Kottakki — a small personal identity through which I have shared songs, guitar pieces, and creative moments.
For me, Patskott is not a separate person. It is simply a lighter, more expressive part of the same journey.
Music & Compositions
Some musical ideas arrive quietly and stay.
This section brings together selected musical work shared outside this website — original compositions, songs composed for short films, and selected performances through platforms such as YouTube, SoundCloud, StarMaker, and social media.
Original Compositions
Over the years, I have recorded a few original compositions — simple melodic expressions shaped by memory, mood, rhythm, and reflection.
These pieces are not presented as professional productions, but as honest musical moments from my personal journey.

Music for Short Films
Some musical journeys quietly find their way into unexpected places.
Two of my compositions were used in short Hindi films made in Singapore. These songs remain special to me because they brought together music, storytelling, performance, and the creative energy of Singapore’s Indian community.
One of the films, Sirf Main, featured Mr Shishir Sharma, a highly respected and immensely talented actor from the Indian film industry.

Selected Performances
Some of my singing, guitar, and musical expressions have also been shared through StarMaker and other platforms.
These are informal musical moments — songs, strumming, melodies, and recordings shared for the joy of music rather than formal performance.

Strum Along with Srini
Strum Along with Srini is my way of making guitar and singing feel approachable for adults who want to enjoy music without pressure.
The idea is simple: not everyone wants to become a professional guitarist. Many people simply want to sing a familiar song, hold a rhythm, and feel the quiet satisfaction of making music with their own hands.
My focus is on helping learners experience music quickly and joyfully — through simple chords, rhythm anchors, familiar songs, and practical encouragement.
The goal is not perfection.
The goal is participation.
Music-Led Gatherings
Music also has a collective power.
Through bhajans, cultural songs, familiar melodies, and shared singing, people come together in a way that is different from conversation alone. A song can carry memory, devotion, belonging, and joy.
Music-led gatherings remind me that community is often built not by speeches, but by shared feeling.
Reflection Through Music
Music and reflection often meet in the same place.
A melody can bring back a memory. A rhythm can steady the mind. A song can soften something that words alone cannot reach.
In that sense, music is not separate from my wider journey. It connects with Kultiv8, with discipline, with memory, with spiritual enquiry, and with the quiet cultivation of the inner life.
This page will gradually include selected music, recordings, reflections, and future updates related to guitar, singing, Patskott, Strum Along with Srini, and music-led gatherings.
